Bruce is a master at motivating and encouraging everyone he meets.  He has a passion for bringing out the potential that lies deep inside everyone. He will find out what you really want to do, or be, and guide you to achieving your goals by committing you and having fun along the way.


Bruce was a dedicated sportsman and represented his province in baseball, softball, soccer and karate and his country as an International Karate Referee.

Bruce holds the rank of GODAN (5th DAN – Black Belt) in GOJU-KAI karate and taught for 25 years of which, 13 years was on a fulltime basis.  He helped produce many Provincial and National, as well as his Son, Byron and Daughter, Candida, represented their country overseas many times.

Bruce has also coached Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Ladies Callanetics, been a personal trainer and gum instructor and attained a 10 handicap at golf.

Coming from a musical family, Bruce played the trumpet both at school and in the Air Force Gym Band.  He now plays the Saxophone passionately.

Bruce started counselling children and specialised in remedial or slow learners while teaching them karate.  He later worked with alcoholics, drug users and people suffering from depression, helping and motivating any and everyone.

In short, Bruce has a Q.B.E. (qualified by experience). He has given motivational talks to sales people and listened to music in every club or venue in town. He has no distinction of class or culture and will coach anybody (provided they want to better themselves).


After 7 years in the Printing Trade, he went into the Family Window Blinds Company and soon became Managing Director.  He ran a successful Manufacturing Company for 21 years and still runs his own Blind Company which is smaller and helps him to keep in contact with all of his friends and customers.


Besides sport, Bruce does sketching, woodworking, welding, handyman jobs for friends and just loves animals, having stayed on a smallholding for over 20 years.  After training Karate in Japan, Bruce now grows Bonsai trees.

Having studied over 100 motivational books, he has gained a vast knowledge and believes anyone can better themselves if they really want to.
